She began her Fringe tenure in 2011 when she starred as Betty in the show “Big Swinging Dick’s Topless Bar Presents: The Naked Drag Queen Farting.” During the past ten years she is best remembered for Bikini Advertising Space but has been involved as part of the creative team in several Fringe productions including “50 Shades of Gay,” “CraigsLUST,” and all shows produced under Bikini Katie Productions. She has toured her award-winning cabaret, “Beneath the Bikini,” to Ottawa, Kansas City, and New York City, but Orlando Fringe will always be her home. She has her BFA in theatre with a specialization in acting from UCF, and is a Lab Rat at SAK Comedy Lab. She is a member of Playwright’s Round Table, and one of the founders of Whiskey Theatre Factory, a new theatre company dedicated to showcasing underrepresented voices. In New York she appeared off off Broadway in Curse of the Zombie; on the cabaret circuit at Don’t Tell Mama, the Duplex, Westend Cafe, and others. She also walked out of elevators, was a nurse, and pushed baby strollers in several soap operas. Sandi just recently returned to the stage at Orlando Fringe with her one woman show, Bugged Lady, which was named a “Best of the Fest” critic’s choice in 2022 and 23. In 2024 at Orlando Fringe she and her husband Alan performed Clark Levi, Your Parents are not Brain Surgeons, the true story of their son’s brush with death. Sandi has enjoyed performing in Play in a Day for two years, and is thrilled to be working with Whiskey TheatreFactory.
